Keep It Fun

I am sure of one thing. I don't want to make this too planned. I like to act on ideas that come to me complete with a blueprint in my head. To the right are squash and peas. We bought the wire panels, sixteen feet long, and nailed them to landscape timbers. Things are beginning to take shape. We have baby squash and four tomatoes on one plant.

We planted corn this afternoon. May 5, 2008. Also, cantaloupe plants. I look forward to getting up every morning and going out, before I go to work, to water and see the changes that have taken place over night. I believe God loves the morning. It is when I feel the most connected to Him.

Backyard Endeavors

The year is 2008. It's spring and time to give gardening another try. We started in March and at this point we have replanted much of our garden space. Cold temperatures have prevented many of the seeds from germinating. This blog will be a collection of backyard endeavors.

  • A vegetable garden

  • Ponds complete with catfish, koi, and frogs

  • Flowers

  • Trees

  • New flower beds

  • A host of backyard projects
